While in law school, Priya gained valuable legal experience through internships with a national manufacturing company and a national defense firm, where she worked primarily on medical malpractice matters. She also externed with a large national healthcare company, which offered her a full-time position following graduation.
As in-house counsel, Priya developed firsthand insight into the complexities of healthcare operations, risk management, and litigation. In that role, she worked closely with outside counsel, including the attorneys at Dzenitis Newman. In 2026, she transitioned to private practice, joining the firm and bringing with her the practical perspective and experience she gained while working in-house.
Priya focuses her practice on long-term care and medical malpractice litigation, assisting with all aspects of case development, strategy, and defense. She is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division.
