Miranda R. Carter
As the daughter and granddaughter of dedicated nurses and healthcare professionals, Miranda has watched her mother and grandmother spend their careers providing their patients and community with exceptional, compassionate care. Interested in law and medicine from an early age, Miranda decided to pursue a career that would combine them both.
Miranda was introduced to the practice of law in high school when she worked for a solo practitioner, and now Circuit Judge, in her hometown of Madisonville, Kentucky. She gained priceless knowledge and experience working for a small medical malpractice law firm while attending the University of Louisville, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in political science.
Miranda began studying at the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law in 2017. She joined Dzenitis Newman as a law clerk in May 2018. While in law school, she completed an externship with a large, multi-state long-term care company. Miranda received her Juris Doctor in May 2020. She is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
When she is not in the office, Miranda enjoys traveling, cycling, and spending time with her husband, Cliff, and miniature goldendoodle, Lucy.
