Erica L. Turner

Erica L. Turner joined Dzenitis Newman in June of 2016, after beginning her legal career as a prosecutor in the Juvenile Division of the Fayette County Attorney’s Office. Originally from Eastern Kentucky, she graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Kentucky, where she was a health care beat reporter for The Kentucky Kernel. Erica obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky College of Law and was a member of the Kentucky Law Journal and the Trial Advocacy Board. During her time as a prosecutor, she successfully argued before the Kentucky Court of Appeals on a case involving competency of a juvenile charged with murder. In addition to the practice of law, Erica enjoys working as a photographer with Amy Campbell Photography and volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Bluegrass.
